Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert M. Pirsig
Though it's not the hardcore philosophy, the flow of the book is complex to follow.
The author tried to weave together their (author and his son, Chris) motorcycle tour experiences and the philosophy around the interpretation of 'Quality'.
It is subtle figuring out who 'Phaedrus' is and that's interestingly presented by the author.
The book begins with subtle philosophy in pursuit of the meaning of 'Quality', then touches Aristotle-Plato-Socrates with travelogue in between and ends with an emotional note.
P.S. Don't skip 'Afterword' in this book.
